I am always looking for quick and easy meals, especially now that there is a new little one in the house. Who has time to cook these days? The issue is finding food that is yummy, easy, and a great value. Ajinomoto's Simmering Samurai products are perfect for just this!
There are actually 5 different varieties:
Broccoli Beef Fried Rice
Chicken Fried Rice
General Tso's Chicken Fried Rice
Orange Chicken Fried Rice
Vegetable Chow Mein
My family tried the Chicken Fried Rice first. It has a bit of a bite to it, I think it is the pepper that's added. My 3 year old daughter wasn't a huge fan of this, so I did end up having to make her something different. My husband ended up adding soy sauce to his, but I liked mine straight up. I love that you just pop it in the microwave out of the box and it only takes 7 minutes to prepare. All the varieties are available at Wal-Mart, but when I went originally they were out of the Vegetable Chow Mein. You can also find coupons on Hopster!
My only issue with this product is that although it does feed my family of 3, that's a family of 3 with a 3 year old. And we are now a family of 4, so I would have to make 2 so we all could get our filling. None the less, I was very happy with this product and could see myself purchasing more in the future. So what do you think about a giveaway? Two lucky Nanny to Mommy readers will win 5 FREE Product Coupons EACH to try each variety for themselves! $25 Retail per winner. All you have to do to enter to win is follow the prompts on the Rafflecopter below. Open to US only, must be 18+ to enter. Winner chosen by random.org and all winning entries are verified.

I tried the orange chicken and broccoli and beef. I think the sauce packet is too small and the beef did not seem to be a good quality.
