I have been a fan of Mega Bloks as long as I can remember. SweetPea got a Mega Bloks Princess Tower for her second birthday and has played with them non-stop for the past few years. I decided to contact Mega Bloks to possibly include them in my 2014 Holiday Gift Guide and I was thrilled with the response!
I let them know I had a 6 month old son and a 3 year old daughter. So when I was sent the Mega Bloks Barbie Fab Mansion to review, I had mixed feelings. I love that it is on Amazon's Hot Holiday Toy List, but it also has 200+ pieces and my daughter might be a little young for it.
I decided to put it together myself to test it out, so I could get a good gauge on how well she will be able to play with it. Part of the blender for the kitchen was missing. Two sets of one sheet of stickers which was actually a pleasant surprise because I always feel so much pressure when applying stickers. And something was broken, but it could have been an extra piece. Also even I had issues with the instructions (even though they are pictures).
My daughter is turning 4 on the 9th and I don't think I can give this to her for Christmas. I had some trouble putting it together. I don't know. I haven't decided yet.
