Storing Homemade Baby Food with Tutti Bimbi

Thank you to Tutti Bimbi for the products to provide this post.

I never really made my own baby food with SweetPea. Maybe it was because I didn't have the right set-up, but I was very intimidated by the whole process. When Peanut was born, I was determined to make it work. And then he ended up not really eating it, but that's another story. I still like to make baby pops and smoothies for my littles. I was recently sent Tutti Bimbi Baby Food Freezer Tray to try out. And I decided to make a some yummy Sneaky Strawberry Carrot Pops. These pops are great for a teething baby and even my four year old finds them tasty as well.

What You'll Need:
1 cup milk (rice or almond would also work
or formula/breastmilk if your baby is younger)
1 banana
2 cup baby carrots
1 cup frozen strawberries
1 cup of ice

What You Do:
Just mix everything together, freeze, and then serve in a mesh feeder!

Tutti Bimbi baby food freezer trays are made of a non-stick silicone with 9 portions for easy preparation and storage. Freezer, oven, dishwasher, and microwave safe. Non toxic plastic which is BPA free and has no phthalates.

I think it would a great addition to anyone attempting homemade baby food. It has 9 spots instead of the usual 4 to 6 that I have seen. Neither the top or bottom lost any shape in the dishwasher. I did contact customer service with a few questions and they were very polite. I loved how eco-friendly the packaging was on this as well. The price is right on point. I would buy this for as a baby shower gift for someone I knew was going to make their own baby food. My sister-in-law was excited to have the extra storage as well. The food easily popped out, no spoon or anything required, which I was very impressed with. I have had other storage containers that have been this easy to use.

I have included the Tutti Bimbi Babyfood Freezer Tray in my Baby Shower Gift Guide.

Did/Do you make your own baby food? What do you think of the Tutti Bimbi Freezer Tray?

  1. I love being able to make my son's babyfood. This looks like a great alternative to what I have been using (ice trays lol). I also was wondering what you use to process your baby's food? I seen it in the background, but I couldn't make out the brand. Thank you for sharing this review!!

    1. It's a NUK baby food maker. It steams and processes the food. But I don't think they make them anymore. You can find them on Amazon still, I think.
