One of my New Year Resolutions was to keep my house cleaner. I am going to turn 30 this year and I am to old to have a messy home. But especially with two small children in the house, I don't want them exposed to harsh fumes from cleaning products. That's why I was excited to try out the Murchison-Hume Starter Kit through Moms Meet.

I like to use an all-purpose cleaner on my stove top, counter tops in my kitchen and bathrooms as well as my dining room table. I'm not a huge fan of the glass cleaner. I tried on the window above my kitchen sink which gets terribly grimy, but it didn't clean it as well as I would like. Then I tried to just clean the finger smudges on my china cabinet and it couldn't handle that. It's nice that it had no smell, but it was like I was cleaning the glass with water.

ReplyDeleteI stopped using Chemicals in my house when my daughter got pregnant with my first grand child. Her and her husband stopped using them so I started looking to alternatives. Right now we use microfiber cloths and thieves essential oil. I would love to try all of these products to have something different to use, for different surfaces.
