Yesterday was not only Easter, it was also my 30th birthday. Yes, I turned the big 3-0. I remember crying, like a lot, when I turned 20 because I was sad I wasn't a teenager anymore. But I wasn't sad yesterday, I was happy and am excited for the journey ahead. We were fortunate enough to be chosen to host a #DisneyKids Preschool Playdate. (Here's a video of our unboxing.) So we had both sides of the family over for Easter and of course all the cousins. We did some egg hunting, had a great meal, enjoyed some cupcakes, and shared the #DisneySide fun.
The kiddos LOVED the goodies bags which were branded with Disney Junior and included goodies from The Lion Guard, Captain Jake, and Sophia the First. I am thankful for the family and friends that came and made our #DisneyKids Playdate/Easter Celebration/Birthday Party such a success!

We started the day off with some egg hunting.
The weather wasn't the best all weekend, so we had to egg hunt in between the rain fall. But the kids had a blast and you can see a full video of all the kiddos egg hunting HERE. Then we came in and enjoyed the festivities and yummy food.
Hubby bought me a cake, my mom brought cupcakes, and my mother-in-law made a cookie cake. So we had a TON of sweet stuff! We let the kiddos make hand puppets and then we played some games.

How fun! Happy Happy belated birthday!! We visited both our mom's houses and ate tons of food with family!! It was perfect!

ReplyDeleteIt looks like you celebrated your 30th in a wonderful way! I am turning 30 this year, and feel like I may have a mid life crisis hah. On top of turning 30, I am expecting a baby that same week so lots of changes happening!
