Our house is on the market. It has been a nerve wracking experience to say the least. But it means I have been wanting to clean all the things! Laundry is one of those on-going battles. And I seem to have been doing it more often because I don't want anyone that comes to see our home to also see our dirty laundry.
Besides the regular laundry, I have been wanting to clean our decorative linens as well. I have a beautiful quilt that my mother-in-law made for me last Christmas that we keep on the end of our bed. It is very precious to me. We don't sleep with it, but sometimes it needs to be laundered because it can gather dust. So I decided to incorporate Downy Fabric Conditioner into my laundry routine.
Downy Fabric Conditioner is designed to protect clothes from stretching, fading, and pilling, giving your clothes a longer, happier life.
This quilt is definitely a keep sake that I want to be able to pas down to my own children one day, so I am looking to protect it with Downy to extend the life of the fabric by keeping it looking and feeling brand new.
During a ride around the washing machine, garments pull, stretch, and rub together. Downy conditions, strengthens, and lubricates each fiber to protect clothing from the friction and agitation of the typical washing cycle.
For added fabric protection, turn garments inside out and wash soft fabrics like cotton on the gentle cycle to keep your clothes looking their best.
I like to use Downy Fabric Conditioner to keep my towels and sheets fresh longer. Downy Fabric Conditioner provides clothes with long-lasting freshness and reduces wrinkles better than using detergent alone.
It also protects towels from pilling and fuzz.
Downy Fabric Conditioner is available at Walmart and Walmart.com for everyday low prices.

ReplyDeleteI have always loved Downy. I can't stand it when my clothes fade, I can't wait to try this.
ReplyDeleteOoh I didn't know that this existed!! SO awesome!! We will have to try it out!! I love anything that will extend the life of my clothing!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a great product--I use Downy all the time in my laundry routine.
ReplyDeleteI haven't used Downy fabric softener in years! My kids have all had sensitive skin as babies so the less I use, the better it seems. But I definitely need to start again, I remember how amazing it made my clothes feel and smell! :)
