I received my first ever OceanBox to review when we were enjoying my husband's vacation at the lake. I was so excited to try out this new subscription type delivery service because it makes fresh fish more accessible. Literally, fresh fish is delivered straight to your door. Vacuum sealed individual pieces that are perfectly portioned and ready for you to cook.
OceanBox has created the ultimate seafood delivery subscription box! By delivering straight from the docks to your door, OceanBox seafood arrives 3x fresher than fish at traditional grocery stores. That means there's no freezing, no middleman and you know exactly where your fish is sourced from! The fish is fresh, healthy and easy to cook. When my package arrived, it was sent Fed Ex so I was able to get updates so I knew exactly when it would be arriving at my door.
Mondays at 7pm EST your order is processed, and seafood is procured. Tuesdays, seafood is portioned to order by an expert team. Wednesdays, your order ships out in temperature controlled, recyclable containers. Thursdays and Fridays, deliveries are made to your areas. You can shop from different types of salmon, cod, halibut, snapper, tilapia, trout, and more. It was a beautiful red color because it fresh caught.

I am sharing my go-to salmon recipe below, but this fish was fresh and delicious that you could simply season with a little salt, pepper, and lemon juice then you would be good to go.
Parmesan Almond Crusted Salmon Recipe
What You Need:
12 ounces salmon
1 egg
1-2 tablespoons olive oil
For the breading:
1/3 cup crushed almonds
1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon dried basil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
What You Do:
1. Mix breading ingredients together in large bowl. Set aside.
2. Whisk egg in a separate bowl. Cover the salmon in the egg, then the breading mixture.
3. Place in a pre-heated oven for 20 minutes at 350.
4. Serve salmon with a side of your favorite veggies. We used spinach.

This sounds incredible! I love fish and it is so good for you! Unfortunately, my husband is not a big fan of a lot of fish (which I call fins)! So if I really have a taste for fins, I'll order them when we go out to eat. I do like the fact that the middle man is eliminated and the fish would be delivered fresher than in the store!
ReplyDeleteI definitely have to try this! Fish is my favorite. I plan on trying the recipe
