If you are looking for a keto friendly protein powder then you are in luck! Coffee is mom life fuel. We all know caffeine is great in the morning to get us started and be productive, but...Did you know caffeine also helps you to lose weight?
This is because caffeine can speed up your metabolism, which makes you burn fat without exercising, nor doing anything in particular. You do know that protein is the best macronutrient to lose weight, right? And because keto is so popular right now, I know many people out there are looking for a keto friendly alternative to their favorite protein powders. I personally like protein shakes because they are convenient on-the-go options whether after a work out or a quick breakfast.
Easy Keto Coffee Protein Shake Smoothie Recipe
What you need:
1/2 cup cut strawberries - I used frozen because of the strawberry growing shortage. If you use frozen too, then you can omit the ice cubes.
1 scoop Totally Egg Natural Egg White & Yolk Protein: Classic Vanilla
1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
1/2 cup cold or room temperature brewed coffee
1 1/2 cups cubed ice
1-3 drops stevia extract, if desired
What you do:
Mix everything in a blender and you are good to go!
Designer Protein is taking the market by storm with their new keto-diet friendly products. Totally Egg has quickly gained attention as a clean and simple addition to the popular Keto diet and provides all the essentials your body craves while maintaining a low-calorie count with all-natural ingredients. It is the first protein powder to contain all the vital nutrients of the whole egg. Totally Egg serves as a natural protein source that ensure you can feel good about what you're putting in your body!
My husband is in love with their products! He usually has a shake every morning for breakfast before or after his work out (depending on how his day is going). He told me they tasted amazing and that I should get more! We had some other protein powders on hand at the time. One he didn't like the taste of that was considered a plant protein based powder. The other had double the carb count for only 1/2 a serving! Finding a protein powder that you can actually have has been difficult for most. I know my sister-in-law has been on the market for one. And of course I shared the health benefits with her:
More Health Benefits of Totally Egg Protein:
- 24 grams of natural egg white and egg yolk protein per serving
- Packed with BCAA's and EAA's
- 0 grams of sugar and 2 grams of net carbs
- Only 6 ingredients with 110-120 calories per serving
- Certified Paleo-friendly, gluten-free, and kosher
I highly recommend checking out Designed Protein and their Totally Egg products. They also have a bunch of other fun recipes to make as well!
