SweetPea has been getting her two year old molars, and although slobber and crying are super fun, I had to find another way to help her through this.
Found Here
SweetPea's teeth have always come in pairs and her molars have been no different. And although I was sceptic of Baltic Amber Teething Necklaces in the past, I recently received the recent opportunity to let SweetPea try them out. So I figured I would give it another go.
Succinic acid is a naturally occurring component in amber that makes it so effective. Succinic acid is a natural pain reliever, anti-inflammatory, and a central nervous system calmer. It is so effective on babies and small children because it simultaneously eases their pain while also having a strong soothing effect on their nervous system – all with zero side effects!
The beads are meant to be worn against baby’s skin, not chewed, and are worn at a short length so that baby cannot easily grab and pull at the necklaces. The necklaces are meant to break if pulled too tight, to prevent choking, but beads are individually knotted so they don’t all fall from the necklace. While it’s recommended that children don’t wear them at night, a necklace can be wrapped around an ankle and covered with a sock to keep it warmed against baby’s skin, and still effective while they sleep.
SweetPea loved wearing her necklace and I felt it truly did help. Plus, two Nanny to Mommy readers are fortunate enough to receive a Baltic Amber Teething Necklace from Amber Pieces to try for themselves! Just enter the Rafflecopter below. US only. I am actually wanting to get this for my niece. I have heard wonderful things from my friends about teething necklaces.
ReplyDeleteWould love the chance to try one out!
ReplyDeleteI have been putting off buying one. I want to see if it works. My lil one has two teeth, so many more to go... thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteWhen my friend's toddler had their 2 y/o molars come in, he cried all the time. I'm concerned that the same will happen to my LO in just a couple months when her molars decide to break through, and I'd like to try something different and natural to help ease her pain.
ReplyDeleteI like natural products because I get nervous using medications like Orajel. In fact, my pediatrician has a notice on her wall about the dangers of teething ointments.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! I am hoping to win this for our little one that is due soon!

ReplyDeletewouldn't want to risk introducing baby to any possibly harmful chemicals and this is perfect to avoid that!
ReplyDeleteThis would be great! I've heard success stories about amber, but haven't tried it yet. I'd much prefer this to Tylenol!
ReplyDeleteI wanted a non toxic way to help my little guy with teething. I swear by our amber necklace. He is currently getting 4 molars, and other than one day of fevers and upset, he has been happy!
ReplyDeleteI have heard great things about this.
