I got in check-out and had a good amount of items in my cart and I put everything on the belt (I had my daughter with me so this is never the easiest if tasks). When the cashier scanned everything and I have her my coupons, the first one she came to she said she would have to ask a manager because they no longer accept Target as a competitor. Wha...wha..WHAT?! This totally threw a wrench in my game plan. Apparently they stopped taking them since April 1st...Fool's Day indeed. :/
I am going to have to change my game plan completely when I shop at Publix and may be visiting Kroger more and more.

I once had a store refuse to take my $3 off coupon because the product was on sale for $2.50.
ReplyDeleteHi I'm Dusty Katt from Dustykatt's Stuff http://dustykatt.blogspot.ca/

You need to come do my shopping!
ReplyDeleteI don't know why...but I hate Publix. My friends are in love like it is a cult.hahaha Maybe it is b/c the ones I have been to are in Florida and they don't allow the half price bogo or double coupons. I am glad to hear some of them do it. haha That is why I am a Harris Teeter addict, they can be super expensive otherwise, but they double up to 99 cents every day and every six weeks they double up to $2 and triple up to 99cents. Good job, love me a bargain.
ReplyDeleteVery informative post! I live in Canada, though.
ReplyDeleteI've nominated you for a Liebster Award! Check it out @ http://tantrumsandteaparties.blogspot.ca/2013/04/liebster-love.html
Wow - I never eally use coupons. I use ibotta, a cell phone app, for some discounts, but never coupons.
ReplyDeleteWhat an absolute shame. I used to love Publix, but there is none up here. I wish stores would not change their policies like this.
ReplyDeleteI am following you from the Aloha Friday blog hop.

Publix Stores are supposed to have their accepted competitors posted near the store entrance. Mine hasn't taken Target coupons in a couple of years. Although I seriously wish they would!!!
ReplyDeleteHey Diana, It was not your luck that day I guess. You did mentioned about your Spending & Savings.. How did you saved more than you spent? ;) Is that really true I mean its technically not possible
ReplyDeleteThanks !
