There are a few things that are different between the LeapFrog LeapPad Ultra and the LeapPad 2. The Ultra is able to go online safely, has more storage, a bigger screen, and is able to play with friends on different games. Parents are able to set up a password so children can't go online and just download anything they want, they need to have permission. I love that my daughter can take pictures. The spaces to put the child's hand is huge so there is no need to worry about them accidentally touching the screen when trying to play, since two fingers would make it not work. I wasn't super impressed with the more apps that come with the Ultra, but there is more. I am going to be honest, I have no experience with any other tablets. But I was very impressed with the Ultra. My daughter is getting it for Christmas and I have been able to get some great games that I know she is going to enjoy. I love that the games can be used on all of the LeapFrog LeapPads.
