We enjoyed a nice winter break, but are glad to be back in school. We had a great time on our winter break doing crafts, playing dress up, and so much more.
My daughter loves playing pretend, but when she isn't feeling her best it is hard for her to be creative.
I have mentioned how we use probiotics in our house to keep a healthy body. A healthy overall
body means a healthy mind. I used them while I was pregnant to stay healthy during flu season
and am still taking them during my breastfeeding journey.
At SweetPea's three-year-old check up, her doctor recommended that I give her a probiotic not
only to keep her tummy happy, but to keep her overall body healthy, happy, and at play. Being
flu season again, I want to make sure she feels her best, so there is no limit to her imagination.
A study published in 2010 suggests that probiotics may even lower the risk of common
childhood illnesses such as ear infections, strep throat, and colds... which increase this time of
year.
In my search for the perfect probiotic for my daughter, I came across Culturelle Kids Probiotic. The probiotic in Culturelle helps support kids’ immune and digestive systems.* Only Culturelle Kids Probiotic contains 100% Lactobacillus GG, the most clinically studied probiotic in children. †† Daily usage is shown to help support kids’ immune systems and help alleviate occasional digestive distress.*
When kids are feeling their best, their imaginations know no bounds! So mom can feel great knowing that the probiotic in Culturelle is helping keep her kids – and their imaginations - healthy.

Do you take probiotics? Do you give your kids probiotics? What sort of activities do you like to do when your kids are feeling their best?

I hope when my granddaughter is older, my daughter and son in law do what's needed to keep her imagination and her personality the way it is. She's so fun loving right now :)
ReplyDeleteMy children are freaks of nature who have never had the flu, hardly ever miss school with illness, and act like they're allergic to all vegetables. Science should really look into them. Nice review, though!
ReplyDeleteI have been using this for Madison since she was a baby. Her doctor actually recommended it. We don't use it daily but she gets it at least once a week. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing at http://image-in-ing.blogspot.com/2015/02/signs-and-signposts.html
ReplyDeleteNo I don't use them....but we do alot of imagination play and activities.
ReplyDeleteI saw these at Walmart the other day and have been wondering if I should start giving it to my girls. I am going to pick someone up Thursday for them to start taking. My oldest has the flu right now, and I don't want them to go through that again.
ReplyDeleteI am in awe of my son's imagination. The world he can create with his mind is just amazing. I used to give him probiotics but now I give him yogurt. Dropping by from http://pixiedusk.livejournal.com/343049.html
ReplyDeleteMy boys love the taste of these. They take probiotics to keep their system healthy.
ReplyDeleteI definitely give my children probiotics. They have special needs and take medication - the probiotics help allow the medication to work more properly.
ReplyDeleteI've considered probiotics. We have never tried any, though. I may have to give that a second look....
ReplyDeleteI personally use probiotics and can really tell a difference. I never knew that it had so many other things it could help as well, such as ear infections and colds. Amazing!! Great posting :)
ReplyDeleteI love these ideas, I think they work perfectly well with young learners. I am actually thinking of using some of them while teaching my own kids. I will let you know how it works with them. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeletekids food

ReplyDeleteMake to check out the link for a $5 off coupon. :)
DeleteI do take probotics and so do my kids. When my kids are feeling their best we like to take long nature walks together, ride bikes and do art projects.
ReplyDeleteProbiotics are expensive but are so worth it! Great post!
ReplyDeleteThey can be pricey, that's why I love the Culturelle is offering a $5 off coupon. :)
DeleteI've not heard of these before, I've never given the kids any vitamin or anything. I try to keep them healthy by way of their diet. Like you I nursed each of them for 14 months. I'm thankful for their tough immune systems; they've never had anything beyond a common cold.
ReplyDeleteWhen my boys are feeling better, we like to go outside and explore in the yard. We call it treasure hunting and we collect various things. I do like to give my boys the probotics especially when they are feeling ill and on antibiotics.
ReplyDeletei give my kids probiotics when they're on antibiotics
