When I was a regular coupon user, there were so many ways that it helped my family. Of course, it helped stretch our one income, but I was also able to help other families through donations. When I heard that Huggies was giving away $2,000 grants to 10 people for the community project or charity of their choosing simply by uploading a selfie, I was in. I couldn't think of a better place to donate the money to than Atlanta Community Food Bank.
I hardly ever coupon anymore. It is very time consuming, but I still try and donate whenever I can because no child should go hungry. Atlanta Community Food Bank (ACFB) procures over 45 million pounds of food and groceries each year and distributes it to more than 600 nonprofit partner agencies serving families and individuals in Atlanta and many Georgia counties. The mission of the Atlanta Community Food Bank is to fight hunger by engaging, educating and empowering the community. While their core work is food distribution, their efforts extend far beyond that. Their mission is lived out every day through seven projects that help engage, educate and empower both people in need and those who want to help. From supporting community gardens to assisting people in finding economic security, ACFB covers a wide range of opportunities for people to learn and get involved.
So how does the #UltraHug contest work?
From April 20th until June 25th, Huggies will be accepting all selfies of you and your baby with the hashtag #UltraHug and featuring them in a collage on the campaign landing page. On July 6th, voting will begin to narrow down the 20 finalists to 10 winners who will win a $2,000 grant from Huggies for their nominated community initiative.
How to Enter the #UltraHug Selfie Contest
- First, take a selfie of you and your baby and upload that selfie to Twitter or Instagram. Make sure to use the hashtag #UltraHug.
- In your same post, make sure to include a text nomination (approximately 100 – 120 characters) including a name and/or identifying description of a community project in the US, which you would like to nominate.

While checking out the details on the #UltraHug contest, make sure to also check out the new Huggies Snug & Dry Ultra diapers. They have a conforming, gap-free fit to keep your active baby dry throughout the day and night. The trusted Leak Lock system has quick-absorbing layers for up to 12 hours of protection.
And they are available at Walmart.
I'm challenging all of the parents out there to upload your own baby & me selfie on Twitter or Instagram! It's too easy not to, and if you win you have a chance to do something really amazing with the money. I would be absolutely thrilled to give ACFB $2,000 from Huggies on my behalf. It would help so many families in need!
What community project would you nominate?
This looks like an amazing program. Do you know if community programs could still sign up for this? I personally know of a program that will benefit greatly from it.
ReplyDeleteYou submit a selfie and then you choose the community project the donation will go to if you win! :D

What a great program! My youngest is still in diapers and I have not tried Huggies for her ever. They seem like they would work great. I love the photos of you and the little one by the way. Adorable!
ReplyDeleteI would choose our local Boys and Girls Club, they just opened a new teen center and the $2,000 would be great to add some outside activities.
ReplyDeleteThis is so awesome of huggies brand to give back to community! Amazing program and I do hope you win! Adorable selfie pic! I still do coupons but agree it really is lot of work to figure which item to get from where. I just started a few months back and I am still trying to figure it out.
ReplyDeleteHow awesome! I really hope you win because you have been promoting it like crazy! I can't help but to love and support and brand that gives back. Thank you for sharing because I had no idea that Huggies supported local communities!
