I first decided to start this blog to keep track of my pregnancy in 2010. Then when my daughter was actually here, it became hard to keep up. I was in a car accident in 2012, that left me without a vehicle. With no where to go and more time on my hands, I decided to start blogging again. I wanted to join the community of blogging, to find friends since I couldn't go out and hang out with my "real life" friends like I did before.

Finding other bloggers, I realized I could start reviewing products and maybe make a little income. I didn't want to sell out though. I wanted to only blog about products/brands that fit my life, since I considered my blog a parenting lifestyle blog. I started on this amazing journey that has led me to so many amazing opportunities and I have met great people along the way.
From day one, my husband has been my biggest fan. He supported me from day one and didn't care if I didn't making any money because he understood it was good for me to have a hobby. I have come a long way and not many others understood what I was doing. They would say "you just get stuff for free", when no I don't. I have to work really hard for it. Blogging takes up a lot of time and there were so many times when I have wrote a post or shared something on social media for nothing at all. I enjoy what I do, so that's makes it worth it, but blogging is a lot of hard work.
If my husband wasn't the supportive man that he is, I wouldn't be where I am today. If he criticized every move I made or was condescending, I have no idea what I would have done. I probably would have stopped. Meaning I wouldn't have had the experiences I have had or helped my family. There may be people who are in your life that are like that, but your spouse should never be one of them. They should encourage you in your endeavors. They shouldn't pressure you if you are uncomfortable with something.
So who do you think you are? The one who criticizes and is condescending? Or supporting? Financial support doesn't count. This was a hard #BehindTheBlogger prompt, but this is something that has been weighing on my heart.

Thank you for reading a story from #BehindTheBlogger Hop. Every 2 weeks a group of bloggers is given a writing prompt. These prompts are very open ended, so our bloggers can write about whatever they desire. The main rule is that their blog post directly relates to the topic of that week. The point of this hop is for our readers to get to know us on a personal level.
Please hop along and read all of the blog posts in this weeks hop. Just click the links below. If you want real and raw emotion, then you will find it here. After you read each post, please comment and share. We want to get to know you too!

We have so much in common! I'm the same way about being picky about my products and brands that I review, and once I start reaching out for sponsorships, I plan to be the same way. I also have a super-supportive husband, that's such a critical key to success!
