Who is excited for the kids to be out for a week of school? My youngest is home during the morning when my daughter is in preschool, so I am excited to have her home and not have to wake up early to take her. Plus we have some fun traveling plans! With Spring Break coming up really soon and all the traveling that people do, I thought I would share some of my packing tips!
1. Ziploc Bags. They can hold your small toiletries, wet clothes, or souvenirs. You can use them as organizational method as well.
2. Don't pack too many shoes and pack your socks in your shoes. Simple heel, some nice walking shoes, and you're good to go.
3. Scarves. can dress up an outfit, can cover you up in conservative areas or if you are chilly, and can even be used as a towel or sarong in a pinch. Can also protect from the sun and provide something soft (or protective) to sit on.
4. Choose outfits that are versatile. That means you can pack less, but have different looks for each day.
5. Packing Cubes or Space saver bags. Just remember with space saver bags you will need something to suck the air out when packing everything for back home.
6. Or Roll Your Clothes - but with this, things will need ironing. No iron around? Use Downy Wrinkle Releaser Plus. It’s all the magic of Downy Wrinkle Releaser Plus in a travel-friendly bottle. The 3-ounce travel size meets airline standards and is a perfect fit in your carry-on or any travel bag, including gym bags, sewing kits and more!
