The Young Messiah is not just a story about Jesus. It’s the story about Jesus and his family. What kind of mother was Mary? How was Joseph as a parent? It’s a fresh take on a traditional story that teaches us family can support you and it can protect you no matter what struggle you’re going through. Heading into this film the producers knew this was a fresh take on Jesus and the Holy family. The filmmakers quickly realized Mary and Joseph faced many of the same problems as parents today.
Inspired by Scripture and rooted in history, this story imagines a year in the boyhood of Jesus. The Young Messiah - IN THEATERS MARCH 11TH. Remaining true to the character of Jesus revealed in the Bible, The Young Messiah is an inspirational story about the childhood of the Savior for the whole family.
When the mystery of Jesus’ divinity begins to unfold in His early years, He turns to His parents for answers. But Mary and Joseph, in an effort to protect their child, are afraid to reveal all they know. How do you explain the ways of the world to its Creator? How do you teach the Teacher? How do you help the Savior who came to save you?

I watched the trailer and the power behind it is there. You do feel the emotions and intertwining of the characters. Parents want to protect their children and raise them right. How would you raise a son to be THE son?

Wow, so moving and inspiring. It makes me think of how important it was to protect the Messiah just like it's important for me to protect my child. I can't wait to see this movie.
ReplyDeleteI think this is such an inspirational movie. Family to mean is everything.
ReplyDeleteI try to keep christ in our lives as much as possible!! I make sure to instill morals in my son and know that he knows that god loves him. He is only 3 so there is only so much we can do right now. But I love that we make sure he knows God.
