My son gets heat rash. He always has, even before his little body was able to sweat properly. This irritates his eczema. He was born in the Spring, so all summer long his sweet baby skin would get heat rash, especially in the crevices of his chubby legs.
I would try to keep him as dry as possible to avoid heat rash, but that wasn't always realistic. We live in the pool and lake all summer long with even a trip to the beach. Plus he always been on the sweatier side.
Boudreaux's Butt Paste has been my favorite diaper cream especially when my son was teething. It has a funny memorable name, but it works and works well. Boudreaux’s Butt Paste kicks diaper rash fast with safe, simple ingredients. Their formula was developed by a pharmacist and a father of four. It heals on contact and is paraben-free, preservative free, and phthalate-free, and contains no artificial fragrances.
Everyone has different tastes and needs, that's why I like that Boudreaux's Butt Paste comes in three different varieties. Original Butt Paste for minor or moderate rash, Maximum Strength for more stubborn rash, and (my favorite) All Natural for minor or moderate rash but with natural ingredients and is petrolatum free. Having eczema, I like to look for more natural products for him to avoid further irritation. Laundry detergents, diapers, wipes, creams, anything you can think of.
My husband even used Boudreaux's Butt Paste on his inner thigh chafing. He has very muscular legs and walks a lot at work. He used the Maximum Strength formula over night and it helped clear up his rash very quickly.
