NO this is not click bate and YES you read that right. If you searched "Lark app Free Fitbit scam" to get to this page, then I am here to tell you that THIS IS LEGIT!
I have been using an app called Lark for a few months now. It was recommended to me through my husband's work. Each year we have to take a health evaluation for our insurance. The Lark app was recommended to me because I have a history of diabetes in my family and this app is all about diabetes prevention. Please note: Not all insurance plans work with the Lark app.
I have an okay diet, but a pretty inactive lifestyle unless I go to the gym. I have a history of diabetes on both sides of my family. My husband did not qualify for the Lark app because the questions he answered didn't qualify him. As soon as I signed up I received a free digital scale that is directly connected to the app and updates my weight automatically. As long as you are active on the app, then you will get a FREE Fitbit (at a certain price point).
If you have been following my blog for a while, then you know at the beginning of last year we were doing great with our weightloss. The summer kind of threw off my work out schedules, but we were going swimming every day. The holidays threw me for a loop and I could never get back on track. This year has been hard to get motivated again. I will go through spurts of going back to the gym again and I'm feeling good, then something knocks me off track. Getting fit is an up hill battle sometimes, but I have found that having the Lark app and a Fitbit has really helped. The Lark app has reminders to log your food so you can see the quality of your foods. And the Fitbit has reminders to help you meet the step goal that you set.
The Lark app provides you with a personal weightloss coach. Your personal Lark coach tracks your exercise, sleep, and diet, then texts you motivation and advice – whenever and wherever you need.

Some see that sticker price of a Fitbit and they just say, "Nope, not for me." But if you're insurance will pay for it because they are all about preventive health, then why not look into it? What do you have to lose? See if you qualify by signing up HERE.
Make sure to come back to this post and let me know if you qualified in the comments below!
Wow, that is awesome that they will give you a free Fitbit for staying active! That is definitely a great incentive. :) And what a fun way to stay in shape. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteHi! Did you pay for the Lark app?
ReplyDeleteNo. You should pay nothing. This is through your insurance.
DeleteYou shouldn*t pay for anything.
Deletehow do u get the scale I don't see anywhere on the app??
ReplyDeleteOnce you qualify, download the app and chat with them for awhile, you have to log in your first meal/snack and then they will tell you through chat that they're mailing you your scale and should receive it in the next few days. Just chat with them for about 5-10 mins through the app and you'll get it :)
ReplyDeleteWhat fitbit do they give out? Is it the fitbit Alta that is pictured?
ReplyDeleteThis one was free at the time. It isn't any certain fitbit. I think it really is more like money off because I could have gotten other fitbits with a huge discount, like over half off or nearly free.
Deletethanks! How long did you have to wait before you were able to get the Fitbit?
DeleteA week or two of actively using the app and then they sent me a link to get one. Then it was regular shipping from there.
DeleteAs far as the Fitbit they offer the basic one for free or you do have the option to pay for a more expensive one. Like with the screen where it shows much more info. And the time frame to receive the items, I received my scale after 2 weeks and the Fitbit took a bit longer. I wanna say mine took about a month or a little into the 2nd month.
DeleteGood for you! I just started Weight Watchers (just the digital version, not the meetings) a few days ago, and just checked into the Lark app. Looking forward to that Fitbit!
ReplyDeleteI want to check out Weight Watchers. I like the idea of the meetings.
DeleteI found this post through searching Google to see if Lark was legit or not and I have been using it for fie weeks now. received the scale a few weeks ago and just got my Fitbit yesterday.
ReplyDeleteAwesome! Congrats!
DeleteI have got my scale no Fitbit been using the app for 3 weeks.
ReplyDeleteYou have to keep using the app multiple times a day. Record all your meals and any activity. That’s how I got mine.
DeleteI didn't get my scale for about 10 weeks so I didnt use the app until I got my scale and now they are telling me I am not eligible for the fitbit.
ReplyDeleteAw dang that stinks. The app tells you about more than just your weight since you can record your meals as they let you know how you’re doing. I would contact them though because if shouldn’t have taken 10 weeks to get the scale.
DeleteWOW! I never heard of this! This is the kind of incentive I need! I’m surprised with all my health problems that my insurance never offered me something like this - especially when I could walk longer and better! And I am a Diabetic now! I pinned this. I am also going to see if there are more pins that I can pin to go along with this weight management plan. I swear sometimes that the insurances and the government don’t care if we are healthy! As long as it doesn’t cost them any more money. After all, they want to see profits!! Thank you Diana for sharing this information!!
ReplyDeleteWhat about they have access to my Google account is this safe
ReplyDeleteIt was recommended by my insurance. And I haven't had any issues as far as access to my Google account is concerned. I don't remember the sign up process and I do apologize for that. I also am at goal weight now and don't use this app anymore although I still enjoy the free fitbit and scale that I have received.
DeleteI qualified and signed up today. My scale is on the way it says. I have an apple watch tho, and I am waiting on my treadmill to get here. BUT the weather is changing so looking forward to walking outside again. Hopefully this afternoon.
ReplyDeleteI qualified for lark have been active with lark for several months logging in regularly. But today will not let me access, custom support don't respond and when tried signing up again states I don't qualify. How can I have access last night but not qualify today? Can they discontinued without letting me know?
ReplyDeleteI don't work with Lark and this wasn't a pad posting. At the time they were offering referral fees for sign ups. This post is from 2018 and at the time it was probably different than it is now. I don't know how to contact support, I also don't use this app anymore.
