School is starting for us in less than a week! I can't believe how fast the summer went by. I'm sure it was because we were so busy. With school starting back, it's back to the daily schedule of making lunches, getting kids to school, and extra curricular activities. I enjoy making my kid's lunches in the morning because I like to know what they are eating and so they can know how much I care while they are there through handwritten lunch box notes.

Packing nutritious lunches is key to keeping kids energized throughout the school day. One easy way to ensure a balanced meal is by including packaged salads in their lunchboxes.

I have fun thinking of creative sayings or little love notes of inspiration so they can get a little pick me up during the day. It's also great for them because they get to enjoy organic reading that they'll love. Seeing your handwriting with a Pilot Pen on a little note card can bring an unexpected to joy to their day letting them know you are thinking about them. My daughter says she tells her friends too when I add in jokes.

Pilot Pen at Walmart

I needed new pens to get creative with and when I went to Walmart I decided to buy G2 Fine 10pk Assorted + Bonus FriXion clicker and FriXion ColorSticks 10pk Assorted by Pilot Pen on Rollback each for $9.88. I liked the combination of these products because the #1 selling gel ink brand in America, the G2, has smooth writing gel ink that makes it a premium brand for overachievers. And FriXion has smooth writing gel ink that allows you to erase at any time, so you can write, erase and rewrite until it’s just right.

  4. It has been a long time since I have packed my kids lunch. I'm sure they would be excited to get a surprise note with their lunch. My boys buy their lunch at school so maybe I can put a note in their backpack instead.

  8. I’m sure your kids love their notes! When my kids were in high school, my husband took over the writing the notes on their lunch bags. They were often silly, but the kids and their friends loved them. One of their friends even did a big art project with the notes.
