Tips to Throw the Perfect Egg Hunt
Friday, April 19, 2019
Thank you Finders Keepers™ for sponsoring this post. Finders Keepers™ are milk chocolate candy eggs that come with a surprise toy in every box. You can try to collect them all!
My family hosts a family Easter egg hunt every year. Everyone in the family is invited on mine and my husband's sides. It is an awesome celebration that brings our entire family together. I started this tradition the year my son was born. I had been wanting to make sure this was an annual tradition that combined our family and my son was only a few weeks old on his first Easter so everyone decided to come to my house so we didn't have to travel far.

The fun thing about this year is that we will have even more kids. And since all of the children are in different age groups, I have some tips to share to throw the perfect egg hunt gathering.

Unicorn Easter Basket Ideas
Monday, April 8, 2019
My daughter is obsessed with unicorns and so are my nieces. So I wanted to incorporate that into a cute Easter basket idea. They also love JoJo Siwa and since she loves all things unicorn, I thought the two could go hand in hand if you are looking for some basket filler ideas! So if you're child is like mine and a little unicorn obsessed, then you'll love this Unicorn Easter Basket Tutorial and stuffer ideas.
I originally saw the idea of creating an Easter Basket Tutu from my friend Jamie who blogs at The Denver Housewife. She has done so many cute ones including a Shopkins Easter Basket. And I am all about reusing items found around the house to create new projects. I think it is more economical to do it that way, but you could very easily buy many of the items featured in Target's Dollar Spot or on Amazon like she did. I will try and link to some similar items. My mother-in-law gave me the tulle I used and I had the unicorn topper from some old party supplies. That's why I decided to recreate this look for a Unicorn theme.

Gift Ideas to Fill The Kiddos' Easter Baskets
Monday, March 19, 2018
Easter is right around the corner. How do you celebrate? We believe in the Easter bunny and I love giving my kids baskets. They have personalized ones that they set out the night before. We also get together with all of my combined family and have a huge Easter egg hunt.
We love to read a book I have explaining the importance of the holiday as well. Everyone brings a dish and we have a wonderful lunch too. I love how it has grown. It started out as me just wanting to make sure that I have a special holiday for my mom and now it has grown to so much family getting together and celebrating. Since Easter is so close, I have compiled a list of great gift ideas to fill the kiddos' Easter baskets!
Some items were received complimentary for consideration. All opinions are my own.
Stepping Into Spring with OshKosh B'gosh
Monday, March 5, 2018
This post is sponsored by Everywhere Agency on behalf of OshKosh B’gosh; however, all thoughts and opinions expressed are my own.
Spring is in the air. My family and I have been so excited for all things spring because it finally gives us a chance to get outside and play. Some of our favorite activities happen in the spring; my son's birthday and our annual Easter Egg Hunt.
For our Easter Egg Hunt, I invite both my husband and my family. We all bring a dish and eggs to hunt. We get to enjoy the wonderful spring air. And my favorite part is getting to explore the kids fashion that OshKosh B'gosh has to offer for spring.
Celebrating Easter & My 30th Birthday #DisneyKids #DisneySide
Wednesday, March 30, 2016
I received complimentary products to provide this post. All opinions are my own.
Yesterday was not only Easter, it was also my 30th birthday. Yes, I turned the big 3-0. I remember crying, like a lot, when I turned 20 because I was sad I wasn't a teenager anymore. But I wasn't sad yesterday, I was happy and am excited for the journey ahead. We were fortunate enough to be chosen to host a #DisneyKids Preschool Playdate. (Here's a video of our unboxing.) So we had both sides of the family over for Easter and of course all the cousins. We did some egg hunting, had a great meal, enjoyed some cupcakes, and shared the #DisneySide fun.

Perfect For Easter: The Young Messiah Movie Ticket Giveaway
Tuesday, March 8, 2016
The Young Messiah is not just a story about Jesus. It’s the story about Jesus and his family. What kind of mother was Mary? How was Joseph as a parent? It’s a fresh take on a traditional story that teaches us family can support you and it can protect you no matter what struggle you’re going through. Heading into this film the producers knew this was a fresh take on Jesus and the Holy family. The filmmakers quickly realized Mary and Joseph faced many of the same problems as parents today.
Inspired by Scripture and rooted in history, this story imagines a year in the boyhood of Jesus. The Young Messiah - IN THEATERS MARCH 11TH. Remaining true to the character of Jesus revealed in the Bible, The Young Messiah is an inspirational story about the childhood of the Savior for the whole family.

I received complimentary products to provide this post. All opinions are my own.
Spring is in the air and trust me my sinuses can tell. March is a BIG month for us. My son turns TWO, I will turn the big 3-0, and on the same day is Easter Sunday. I was recently sent some awesome goodies from Zubels that I am excited to put into my kiddos Easter baskets. I have done a few Zubels reviews now. I just love working with them. They make high quality, hand knit rattles, dolls, and so much more!
Zubels are each hand knit with 100% super soft organic cotton yarns. Zubels uses eco-friendly low-impact dyes and has minimal packaging to reduce environmental waste. Each one is also hand stuffed to make them huggable and loveable. Their subtle textures, vibrant colors and hand embroidered details spark imaginary play. They are eco-friendly, but purposeful and sure to be cherished by your little ones for years to come.
Baby's 1st Easter Basket
Tuesday, March 24, 2015
It's that time of year again! I love Easter because we have decided to bring back the tradition from when we were little of having lunch and a great egg hunt for all the little ones. Technically last year was my son's first Easter and although we got a basket, we had no clue what to fill it with since he was a newborn. I've compiled a list that I think would have been great for not only him, but really any baby's first Easter.
