Lets Power Their Dreams

This is a sponsored post for SheSpeaks/P&G.

My daughter has always been a very cautious person. Which isn't a bad thing. She pretty much has always stayed out of harm's way to her own accord. With being a very careful person, sometimes she misses out. Things look fun and she wants to try them, but she is scared of the unknown.

"CHEESE!"

We are water people. We are always at the lake or pool. My in-laws live three minutes away and they have an in-ground pool. So knowing how to swim is a way of life. My daughter being the overly cautious person she is, has always hated getting her face wet. This just doesn't work if you are in the water all the time like our family.

So I decided (with the help of my mother-in-law) that it would be a good idea for her to take swim lessons.

Staying Hydrated During Allergy Season #DrinkDripDrop

This is a sponsored post for SheSpeaks/DripDrop.

With warmer weather quickly approaching, this means we will be outside exerting more energy. Which is GREAT! I don't know about you (especially you folks up north), but I have been missing going to the park with my kiddos, hiking, and swimming. But with spring and warmer weather comes (at least for my family) flair ups due to seasonal allergies. And unfortunately there isn't too much you can do besides take allergy medicine and make sure you HYDRATE!

I recently had the opportunity to review DripDrop with my family. DripDrop hydration powder was developed by a Mayo Clinic-trained family physician. It treats and prevents dehydration in adults and children.

The Feel Better Smile #SmilingItForward

I have received information and products from McNeil Consumer Healthcare Division of McNEIL-PPC, Inc., the makers of TYLENOL®. The opinions stated are my own. This is a sponsored post for SheSpeaks.

Tylenol Smiling it Forward

I'm SMILING IT FORWARD™ because last year, my daughter came down with a case of Hand-Foot-Mouth (HFM). Thankfully, my daughter had a very small case and wasn't in too much pain, but I did notice that she was smiling less and whining more. There is nothing you can really do for this painful infliction except give your child lots of snuggles and Infants' Tylenol.

Tylenol Smiling it Forwards

Although if you look very carefully, you can see the bumps from HFM, but isn't that the cutest "feel better" smile. After days of whining, sleeping, and being super clingy, I got to see this wonderful smile. And when your child has been sick, that is the best smile ever.

The makers of TYLENOL® were so inspired by the “feel better” smiles shared organically by moms across the country online that they’ve teamed up with "How I Met Your Mother" star and mom of two, Alyson Hannigan, to launch the SMILING IT FORWARD™ campaign. Together, they hope to set the power of giving in motion, inviting everyone to share smiles of good health to help children in need.

SMILING IT FORWARD™ makes it easy for people to join the movement. By sharing a photo that makes you smile at SmilingItForward.com, TYLENOL® will make a $1 donation to Children’s Health Fund, helping to ensure a doctor’s visit is always within reach for children in need.

A self-proclaimed TYLENOL® mom, actress Alyson Hannigan, mother of Satyana, 4, and Keeva, 1, knows the importance of seeing her child’s “feel better” smile; the wide-eyed grin that comes after a fever has been reduced or pain has gone away. She joined SMILING IT FORWARD™ to support TYLENOL® in helping to provide high-quality healthcare, like her daughters receive, to children in need.

In addition to sharing photos at SmilingItForward.com, moms can go on the site to view the TYLENOL® Smile Gallery, learn more about Alyson Hannigan and Children’s Health Fund, and receive tips from leading pediatrician, Dr. Tanya Altmann, about keeping families smiling through cold and flu season.

#TheClueIsInTheBlue Luvs Super Absorbent Leakguards Review

The Clue Is In The Blue

Have you checked out the new development with Luvs diapers? There is a special blue seal that is on the packaging of Luvs Super Absorbent line at Walmart that has been added to distinguish it from other Luvs diapers. This blue seal makes these Luvs diapers 15% more absorbent than other Luvs!

Now when I was accepted to try the new Luvs, I am not going to lie to you, I was a little nervous because we have tried Luvs in the past and I felt they were a cheaper version of Pampers. PLUS, they caused my daughter to have a little bit of an allergic reaction.

The Clue Is In The Blue

But when I opened the bright purple package of Luvs Super Absorbent Leakguards the first thing I noticed was how much I loved the designs of the new Luvs. I also noticed they had a nice smell but was worried because I felt they were kind of thin. We are potty training, so Sweet Pea only wears diapers at night. So, I can't say how they hold up during the day. But we were very impressed with they held up to her over-active nighttime bladder. She tends to go a lot at night, although I have been working on this with her, I don't think her body is quite ready to go without some kind of nighttime protection. Regular day time pull ups just don't cut it for our needs, but the new Luvs Super Absorbents Leakguards held up to the task and I was pleasantly surprised how well they worked.

What do you think of Luvs at Walmart? Do you have a favorite brand diaper?
