Bath Time with Henrietta Hippo
Sunday, March 27, 2016
This post is brought to you in partnership with the folks at Cheraboo. All opinions are my own. Contains affiliate links.
Bath time in our house is key to our nightly routine. This runs in the family. My sister-in-law is pregnant with baby girl number three, and I am very excited to share with them Henrietta Hippo Bath Toy Organizer from Cheraboo because we received Hurley last year and he is awesome!
My biggest concern with this bath toy organizer was the material it is made of. I thought it was foam at first. But Henrietta is actually made of quick drying, phthalate free synthetic rubber. Plus, with a mesh net, water just drains straight through, so you don't have to worry about mold and mildew on the organizer or your children's bath toys.
Bath Time Fun with Nuby Squid Squirter
Friday, November 6, 2015
I received complimentary products to provide this post. All opinions are my own.
My kids LOVE bath time. I think what they like the most is all the fun toys they have. We received our Nuby Squid Squirter a while ago to review and it is by far one of their favorite toys. It has held up very well and you can't beat that kind of quality for the price.
Nuby's Squid Squirter is a fun way for your child to shoot water with a cute squid design. When you hold the squid under water and pull the handle back the chamber is filled with water. Then push down on the handle and watch the water squirt everywhere. Parents beware, this will be aimed in your direction.
Bath Time with Hurley Hippo

I received this product complimentary to provide an honest review. All opinions are my own. Contains affiliate links.
Bath time in our house is not only a part of our nightly routine, it is also a big part of our play. We not only take a bath when the kiddos are dirty, but as a way to calm them down when nothing else will. We have quite a few bath toys and I am always looking for a good storage system. That's why I was excited when I received the Hurley Hippo Bath Toy Organizer from Cheraboo to review.
My biggest concern with this bath toy organizer was the material it is made of. I thought it was foam at first. Hurley is actually made of quick drying, phthalate free synthetic rubber. Plus with a mesh net, water just drains straight through so you don't have to worry about mold and mildew on the organizer or your children's bath toys.
Weleda Baby Derma White Mallow Collection Review #IC
Thursday, April 23, 2015
I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for Weleda. I received product samples to facilitate my review as well as a promotional item to thank me for my participation. All opinions and reviews are my own.
Does your baby have sensitive skin? Peanut has been showing signs of sensitivities lately. Maybe it was the cold of the winter or now with pollen season in full swing. I'm not sure. I want his skin to stay baby soft without irritation. I have been a fan of Weleda baby products for a while. Weleda has been developing plant-based medicines and natural cosmetic products since 1921 with a focus on quality, from the selection of raw materials to the finished holistic product. So when I was sent Weleda's NEW Baby Derma White Mallow Collection to review, I was very excited. Being 100% certified natural by the European association NaTrue, the products were awarded the esteemed National Eczema Association Seal of Acceptance.
Weleda’s Baby Derma White Mallow Collection provides natural skin care products for your baby that are dermatologically tested, fragrance-free that both soothe and nourish their skin as well as mitigates symptoms of eczema and sensitive skin. Peanut LOVES bath time. This is an understatement. I have to bathe him almost nightly anyways because he is a messy boy, but nightly baths can be rough on baby's soft skin.

A New Batch of Bath Issues? {Nuby Tear Free Rinse Pail Review}
Thursday, October 3, 2013
Facebook - Twitter - Instagram - Pinterest
My daughter is going threw a washing her hair strike. She use to just tilt her head back or even let me lay her down in the water to rinse her hair. But for the last few weeks she hasn't been letting me do either. So when I had the opportunity to review the Nuby™ Tear Free Rinse Pail, I was excited because I thought this would be perfect for her...Boy was I wrong. It isn't that the Nuby™ Tear Free Rinse Pail isn't an amazing product. My daughter is just going through a phase where she doesn't want water ANYWHERE on her head, hair, or face.
The Nuby™ Tear Free Rinse Pail has a great tear free edge that molds to your child's head so the water and soap won't get into their eyes. It can be found at the following retailers:
BuyBabyDirect
Amazon
Kmart
I will try and update this post once my daughter isn't going through her no water on her head strike, but this really is an awesome product that has already been so useful in so many other ways. And I am glad we now own it.

Nuby Tub Time Turtle {Review}
Tuesday, September 10, 2013
Being a Nuby Mommy Blogger I get to try out all sorts of exciting new products. I was very excited when I received the opportunity to have Sweet Pea test out Nuby's new bath toy - Tub Time Turtle.
Nuby's Tub Time Turtle is a fun and interactive bath time toy that floats on the water's surface so it is always within easy reach. When you lift Tub Time Turtle out of the water, your child can experience waterfall fun!
Tub Time Turtle's packaging says it is for child 9 months plus and my 33 month old thoroughly enjoys playing with it. The little flippers are easy for your child to grip. And I love that it is BPA free. Sweet Pea loves bath time. It hasn't always been this way. Cool toys like Nuby's Tub Time Turtle are what help make bath time fun for her.
My Sweet Pea also likes stacking her other Nuby bath toys in the bowl part of the Tub Time Turtle. Tub Time Turtle can be purchased online at Amazon.com, Diapers.com, or in-store at Buy Buy Baby.
Also don't forget to follow along with Nuby for new product information and fun giveaways on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or Pinterest!
Stay tuned for more Nuby Reviews and some awesome giveaways too! ;D

Doctor's Visits and Bath Time
Wednesday, December 15, 2010
Since my doctor didn't want to release me from the hospital, he made an appointment for me for Monday. It was just a blood pressure check and VERY pointless. I have another one tomorrow to follow up.
***Edit follow up visit was very pointless as well...
***Edit follow up visit was very pointless as well...
Lizzie's first appointment was today. The doctor said she looked really good. She weighed 6 pounds 8 ounces which he said is normal. It takes around two weeks for them to get back to their birth weight. That I just need to make sure she keeps pottying like she is suppose to. He said she did look a little jaundice which was normal for a breast fed baby but that as long as I make sure she gets sunlight it should be fine. Other than that she is doing great!
She had her first at-home bath last night. She clearly did not care for it very much.
Clearly my husband is an awesome photographer. LOL |
She has been sleeping very well. Some nights are better than others. But all-in-all she is a happy healthy 5 day old! :)
