Having spent most of her life exploring the jungle with her parents, nothing could prepare Dora (Isabela Moner, Instant Family) for her biggest challenge yet – high school. My step-sister grew up loving Dora and being only a few years older while still loving cartoons, I loved her too. So when my daughter and I went to the movies, we saw the trailer for "Dora The Lost City of Gold" and were very excited. So we are thrilled to own it on digital and Blu-Ray now. And we loved the kit Paramount sent that included a Maglite as well!

In our house, September means getting ready for Halloween! It is one of my favorite holidays, if not my favorite. I love dressing up and decorating, creating spooky recipes for the kids, or watching family-friendly scary movies, but I love that there isn't all the pressure that tends to come with Christmas. This year my kiddos didn't know what they wanted to dress up as for Halloween, so when I was asked to try out Flappy suits, I thought what a great opportunity to let my kids choose what they want to be.

There are only a hand full of brands that I keep working with because I believe in them and National Geographic Kids is one of them. My kids love learning about animals and they keep coming out with unique books that are enjoyed by everyone in our house.

National Geographic Kids Books is rolling out a brand new series of picture books that are perfect for kids ages 3-7 (preschool - 2nd grade). To celebrate the release of the first two books in their So Cool! So Cute! series National Geographic is giving away a very huggable prize pack: a hardcover copy of So Cool! With my son going into kindergarten and my daughter going into third grade (but reading on a fourth-grade level already), I want to keep this momentum going. So, we have been reading all summer long! If you take a look at my Summer Bucket List Ideas, it included completing a reading log.

I don't know about your kids, but mine are always so hungry. Always!
