With everything going on in the world, it is so important to show others some kindness. We have been in high gear thinking of simple ways we can show each other love and kindness. And although it may be a splurge, one of my favorite ways to surprise people I love in my life is with flowers through Teleflora.

I have been working with Teleflora since Christmas 2018 and I have loved every bouquet that I have received thus far. In our house, September means getting ready for Halloween! It is one of my favorite holidays, if not my favorite. I love dressing up and decorating, creating spooky recipes for the kids, or watching family-friendly scary movies, but I love that there isn't all the pressure that tends to come with Christmas. This year my kiddos didn't know what they wanted to dress up as for Halloween, so when I was asked to try out Flappy suits, I thought what a great opportunity to let my kids choose what they want to be.

There are only a hand full of brands that I keep working with because I believe in them and National Geographic Kids is one of them. My kids love learning about animals and they keep coming out with unique books that are enjoyed by everyone in our house.

We are in full blown summer fun our house, but it sure has been a rainy one. Whenever we have had a chance, we have been getting out. We have had so many parties to go to where it even rained at those! And what do you do when the weather is bad and you have two cooped up kids to entertain all day? Board games are a great idea especially when you can take them on the go too!

With my son going into kindergarten and my daughter going into third grade (but reading on a fourth-grade level already), I want to keep this momentum going. So, we have been reading all summer long! If you take a look at my Summer Bucket List Ideas, it included completing a reading log.



So, I searched the web and found this printable reading log that we have been using. And the kids are earning their rewards.
