Helping Kids Stay on Track with Kids Health, Learning, & Play Babbleboxx
Monday, August 24, 2020
This post is sponsored by BabbleBoxx.
Usually we are all gearing up for back-to-school this time of year, but that might look different for each and every family. And that's okay! Keeping kids healthy and engaged is still the goal. So I was super excited when Babbleboxx sent us an awesome box full for great items that are perfect for kid's health, learning, and play.
What was so much fun about this box, is that it included items to take care of their bodies, minds, and creativity. I think the key with this new school year is going into it with an open mind, understanding that not all homes or situations are the same, things are bound to go wrong since it's a learning curve, and compassion with everyone.
Having Fun In The Kitchen With Your Kids
Wednesday, January 22, 2020
When you think of cooking with your children, you might think of all the mess involved and the time spent preparing and then cleaning up. Of course, It is much easier to get the cooking done yourself, but you will miss out on a fabulous bonding and learning experience with your children. Not only will you be passing on a valuable skill to your children- teaching them how to nourish themselves and other people, but you will also be creating memories in the kitchen that they will probably never forget.
Unfortunately, cooking from scratch is a tradition that has been somewhat forgotten in our fast-food culture. The ability to cook fresh ingredients and create dishes from scratch is a skill that our grandparents would have had, but increasingly is disappearing from society. IT is important to maintain our food culture, and to be able to be self-sufficient in the kitchen.

Get Them To Help You Make Decorations, Invites, and RSVPs
Beforehand, if your kids have a creative gift, you could get them to help you make things like decorations, invites, and RSVPs. Depending on their age, you may have to give them a simple job, but they will love being included and feeling like they helped do something important.
The Basics of Gardening with Kids
Monday, October 15, 2018
Kids: they’re inquisitive, creative, energetic, and have an admirable desire to learn. One of the best activities to encourage and support all of these wonderful traits is gardening. Not only can gardening with kids be incredibly fun (the look on their face when they pull a potato out of the ground is precious), but it is an opportunity to teach them functional skills and life lessons that they will thank you for in their adulthood.
Aside from education, gardening has been said to lead to healthier food choices and a more diverse pallet of fruits and vegetables in children’s diets. Gardening also supports your child’s development in regards to literacy skills and cognitive learning.
And even if you aren’t a gardener now, that doesn’t mean that you can’t start! Gardening is also a wonderful activity for adults. It’s stress-relieving, meditative, a nice little workout (or a big workout), and it results in a beautiful backyard and fruitful harvest.

Some "Bunny" Likes You - Non-Candy Valentine Idea + FREE Printable
Friday, February 3, 2017
With Valentine's Day right around the corner, I have been thinking what we were going to do differently this year. My daughter is in Kindergarten and has 22 classmates. I really wanted to give non-candy Valentine's this year. I feel like we just got rid of all the Halloween candy! So I created these "Some Bunny Likes You" Printables for you all to enjoy!
My kids love these Annie's Homegrown snack packs. I pack them in my daughter's lunch box as well as take them on the road with us. And they come in a perfect bunny shape too! They come in larger boxes if you want to pack them in baggies, but I like these ones that are already individually wrapped. They also make fruit gummies as well. And if you're wondering, no this post isn't sponsored, we just love Annie's Homegrown Snacks! I just love that they are a socially conscious business who specializes in organic ingredients and focusing on sustainability.

I received complimentary products to provide this post. All opinions are my own.
Easter has come and gone, but the cute Spring styles are here to stay! We were recently contacted by See Kai Run to review some of their super cute shoes and they were perfect for my kid's Easter outfits.
A child’s foot is different than an adult’s foot. Kids’ feet are constantly growing and changing, which is why they study kids’ feet and carefully consider every detail that goes into a shoe. All See Kai Run shoes are proportionally engineered for a child’s foot and designed to promote healthy foot development.
Kids' Candor Subscription Box Review + Giveaway
Monday, March 14, 2016
This is a sponsored post. All opinions are my own.
I love subscription boxes, especially ones for my kiddos. So when I had the opportunity to try out Kids' Candor, I of course jumped at the chance. What make Kids’ Candor unique is the fact that it is the first bilingual (English/Spanish) program that provides tools and guidance to educate children from birth until preschool through quality human interactions with their parents/caregivers.
Every month you will receive one kit with everything you need to foster an optimal early child development. Each kit is specifically crafted for your child’s age and development stage. Their comprehensive curriculum encompasses original music, educational activity materials, games, toys, and easy-to-use guide cards. Finding educational games where my child can actually learn, but I don't have to run around to a million different stores to find all the right stuff is hard. But Kids' Candor has taken out all the leg work for you.
