Lets Power Their Dreams

This is a sponsored post for SheSpeaks/P&G.

My daughter has always been a very cautious person. Which isn't a bad thing. She pretty much has always stayed out of harm's way to her own accord. With being a very careful person, sometimes she misses out. Things look fun and she wants to try them, but she is scared of the unknown.

"CHEESE!"

We are water people. We are always at the lake or pool. My in-laws live three minutes away and they have an in-ground pool. So knowing how to swim is a way of life. My daughter being the overly cautious person she is, has always hated getting her face wet. This just doesn't work if you are in the water all the time like our family.

So I decided (with the help of my mother-in-law) that it would be a good idea for her to take swim lessons.

Save On Pampers With A High Value Coupon In This Sunday’s Paper! #PampersSavings

This post and giveaway were made possible by iConnect and Pampers. I was compensated for my participation in this campaign, but all opinions are 100% mine.
My youngest is in diapers and honestly, I can’t wait until he is in undies! We just started the potty-training process, and he isn't as eager as I would like. But that's okay, no pressure. I coupon and still do for baby products like diapers and wipes! I have been a huge fan of the Pampers brand since my daughter was an infant and on May 29, 2016, there will be a high value coupon you can use in grocery and discount stores where baby products are sold.

Emojis for Mom - Momoji Keyboard by Luvs App + Giveaway

This review and giveaway was made possible by Connect Influencer Management and Luvs. I was compensated for my participation in this campaign, but all opinions are 100% mine.

Have you ever been send a text and you are swiping through your emojis, then you keep swiping and swiping because you realize the one you want just isn't there. As a mom, I have this issue a LOT! Sometimes you just don't want to text it out, but you need to give a visual somehow. That's where the Momoji Keyboard by Luvs comes in. With this app, you can easily express all the emotions that come with real life parenting.

Peanut is going though stages of almost being a two year old. I have no idea how to describe that to people. He is still a baby in so many ways, but almost a toddler. Not quite at the "Terrible Two" phase yet, but he has his moments. That's why I am loving the The Momoji Keyboard by Luvs which is available for download on the Apple Store or Google Play.

Pampers NEW Cruisers Review + $75 BRU Gift Card Giveaway #Ready2POP

This post is sponsored by P&G. All opinions are my own.

Did you know that Pampers has updated their Cruisers? Pampers' Cruisers also feature Sesame Street® character designs and include wide, stretchy sides to provide their best fit yet! The 3-channel absorbent core was developed with parents’ feedback in mind & represents 4 years of research.

They are a little big because I was sent a size 5 which isn't what my little man normally wears. He usually wears a size four and only because he is a heavy wetter. He still had no accidents even though they were a little on the large size for him.

Champion Nathan from Florida

“Lively” and “energetic” can describe any young boy. But Nathan’s spirited demeanor comes from deep within and with help from his hospital, as he was born with a condition that depletes vital energy levels.

Just a few weeks before his first birthday, Nathan was diagnosed with mitochondrial disease, a degenerative disorder that attacks the mitochondria — a basic energy source to sustain the body’s functions and support growth. While his body may not always have the proper energy, Nate’s fun-loving personality triumphs.

Tips to Help Your Baby Cope with Daylight Saving Time + Giveaway

This interview opportunity is sponsored by Pampers.

We'll soon be turning the clocks forward as Daylight Saving Time is quickly approaching, leading many moms to wonder how the time change will affect their baby, especially when it comes to little one's sleeping patterns. “How will my baby adjust to the time change?” and “Will that mean a different wake up time?” are just a few questions mothers may have.

I recently had the opportunity to interview “The Sleep Lady” Kim West to help ease moms’ concerns by offering essential sleep tips. Kim West is a mother of two teenage girls and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been a practicing child and family therapist for more than twenty years. Known as The Sleep Lady® by her clients, she has helped tens of thousands of tired parents all over the world get a good night’s sleep without letting their children cry it out alone. Kim has appeared on Dr. Phil, the Today Show and Good Morning America and is the author of three books: “GOOD NIGHT, SLEEP TIGHT: The Sleep Lady’s Gentle Guide to Helping Your Child Go to Sleep, Stay Asleep and Wake Up Happy”, the “Good Night, Sleep Tight Workbook” and “52 Sleep Secrets for Babies.

Check out the video below! Please remember this was my first interview EVER and I was super nervous. I tried to think of different questions that maybe not many other bloggers would ask.

Peanut is definitely a bouncy baby boy!

This was taken with my iPad 4, so it is a little poor quality. My mom bought this for SweetPea at my first baby shower, but she never took to it as a baby. But Peanut is getting a TON of use out of it!

A Letter to My 1st Time Mom Pregnant Self

I received a similar prize pack from P&G in order to share this giveaway. All opinions are my own.

Dear First Time Mom Pregnant Self,

You think you know everything because you were a Nanny for five years and worked at a day care before that. But 24/7/365 with no pay check is a COMPLETELY different story. First of all, don't sweat the small stuff. If your daughter wants to sleep with every stuffed thing in the entire house, count your blessings that at least she's willing to sleep. Nurse every two hours until your milk comes in. Pumping sucks literally, but it can help too. Don't worry about bed sharing some nights. Or even most nights. It won't last forever and one day you'll miss it. Pacifiers are your friend. Get the dog trained BEFORE the baby is born. Make time for your husband, make sure to find ways to include him, and make him be included whether he wants to or not - that means making him change diapers. He will thank you later. Breastfeeding is hard. There will be ups and downs during that entire first year, but you can do it. Take a bath with the baby because at least you'll kind of get one too. Do at least a load of laundry a day, but don't sweat it if you miss a day because babies don't keep. Make sure the car seat's chest clip is at arm pit level. Don't let others pressure you to do something that your mommy instincts are against. Stock up on diapers before hand, not when you run out and have to use a shirt. Wipe warmers are pointless and waste wipes. Pampers Swaddlers are awesome because they have the color-changing wetness indicator that makes it easy for you (and Hubby) to tell when it's time to change a diaper, they are one of the few that won't break your little one out (this was my experience, yours may differ), they are Pampers' softest diaper, the #1 choice among hospitals, and Pampers has their wonderful Gifts to Grow program.

Yes, my boy uses a pink tummy time mat. :)

I loved putting Sweet Pea in Pampers Swaddlers and although she was a little baby, I was sad when she grew out of them. And Peanut is 14.4 lbs at 3 1/2 months old and will now get to experience Pampers Swaddlers longer because they are now available up to size 5 at Babies “R” Us! Pampers Swaddlers give your baby comfort and protection they’ll love for even longer. With up to 12 hours of overnight protection, Swaddlers help you make your baby as comfortable as possible. PLUS, you can save some money by buying  Swaddlers Super Economy Pack and Economy Plus Pack which are now available.

Experiencing #MilestoneMoments with P&G and Pampers

I received a similar prize pack to share this information provided by Proctor & Gamble. All opinions are my own.

We have been a huge fan of P&G products in our home for a long time. Tide is the only laundry detergent that my husband and SweetPea can use on their sensitive skin. Hubby can only use Old Spice deodorant. And Pampers are our top choice brand of disposable diapers.

Here's a picture of one of SweetPea's very first "firsts", seeing Santa. Can you believe this was almost three years ago? Where does the time go with little ones.

First Time seeing Santa

I love Pampers swaddlers when SweetPea was a newborn because they are Pampers softest diaper ever. And I am so excited that Swaddlers are now available through size 5! Which means, this baby can stay in my favorite diaper throughout their diapering years.

From your baby’s first smile to their first step, Swaddlers can now be there for many more firsts to come! Pampers Swaddlers in Size 4 & 5 now at Babies-R-Us {GIVEAWAY}

Proctor & Gamble provided me products in exchange for this review and giveaway. All opinions are my own.

Pampers Swaddlers size 4 and 5 now at Babies

When Sweet Pea was a newborn I love the softness of Pampers Swaddlers. And I was so disheartened when she grew out of them. That's why it's so exciting to find out that my next baby will be able to wear the softness of Swaddlers longer. We fell in love with Pampers Swaddlers in the hospital. They were so soft against her new skin and we loved the wetness indicator. Did you know that Pampers Swaddlers is the #1 choice of hospitals and a trusted favorite of many new moms? Now, moms can keep their babies in the diaper they’ve come to know and love for all those important milestones – from the first tooth to the first step to running laps around the house while mom and dad try to catch up! And what's even more exciting? Babies “R”Us, the nation’s premier baby products retailer, now carries Pampers Swaddlers in Sizes 4 and 5.

In addition to expanding Pampers Swaddlers to Sizes 4 and 5, Pampers has been making other improvements to their trusted diapers to help keep moms happy and their babies dry. Besides being their softest diaper yet, Pampers Swaddlers now feature an absorb-away lining, wetness indicator and new packaging and graphics. Other improvements such as new cuff material and absorbency speed have been made to Cruisers and Baby Dry. To learn more about all the new Pampers diapers innovations and see video demonstrations visit www.babiesrus.com\newpampers. You can find all these Pampers products, and everything you need for your Baby’s Milestones, at Babies”R”Us.

Babies"R"Us has a GREAT deal going on right now.
From September 19-21 customers will receive a free $20 Babies“R”Us Gift Card with an in-store purchase of any two Pampers value boxes of diapers (78 ct. or higher.).

The most exciting part of this promotion (in my opinion), Proctor & Gamble has provided one very lucky Nanny to Mommy reader the opportunity to win a $50 Babies"R"Us gift card (valid at Toys"R"Us as well) and a 64ct. of Pampers wipes. How awesome is that?!
