Playing Dress Up with Great Pretenders
Thursday, October 27, 2016
My daughter is a huge fan of playing pretend, dressing up, and using her imagination. For the past few years her "dress up wardrobe" has expended. In fact, when we organized the play room, I decided to buy a child's size clothing rack for all of her play clothes. I have worked with Great Pretenders for the past two years on my Holiday Gift Guide. And each when they contact me, I am so excited to see their new quality, products at great prices.
The Great Pretenders story is one that starts like many. Once upon a time, there was a mom troubled by the lack fun and imaginative toys for her children. Baffled by this, she set out on her ambitious journey to come up with creative, pretend-play toys that would light up any child's imagination. Fast forward; her endeavors transcended into a vastly successful dress-up and costume business which manufactures award-winning toys – an innovative leader in the pretend-play market for children.
How to Keep Your Child's Imagination Going
Tuesday, February 3, 2015
This conversation is brought to you by Culturelle® Probiotic. All opinions are 100% my own.
We enjoyed a nice winter break, but are glad to be back in school. We had a great time on our winter break doing crafts, playing dress up, and so much more.
My daughter loves playing pretend, but when she isn't feeling her best it is hard for her to be creative.
I have mentioned how we use probiotics in our house to keep a healthy body. A healthy overall
body means a healthy mind. I used them while I was pregnant to stay healthy during flu season
and am still taking them during my breastfeeding journey.

Just Pretend Kids Review {#SummerSweeping Giveaway Hop, Ends 8/15}
Friday, August 1, 2014
My daughter LOVES playing pretend, dressing up, and all thing make believe. So when I received the opportunity to review a tutu and wings set from Just Pretend Kids, I jumped all over it.
I let my daughter decide which one she would like. She chose the Turquoise Tutu from the Nina Collection and Turquoise & Purple Flutter Wings to match. And I'm fairly certain I know why. She loves the movies Frozen and The Pirate Fairy. Elsa wears a blue dress and the blue pixie dust is the key in The Pirate Fairy.

A Pest Free Play Area with Hot Shot® Insecticides
Wednesday, July 2, 2014
This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Hot Shot® Insecticides.
Recently my daughter had a nasty wasp nest in her play house. It's summer and we want to enjoy the outside, but I don't want to have to worry about my daughter getting stung while she pretends she is on a captain of a pirate ship or on a bear hunt in a dark, spooky cave (both things she actually pretends the most).
If you are anything like me, the thought of ANY kind of insect around your little ones just freaks me out! So not wanting the bugs to feel at home in her play house, we bought some Hot Shot® Wasp & Hornet Killer3.
