Helping Your Toddler Try New Foods
Monday, August 8, 2022
One of the best things about having a toddler is that everything is new to them, and they are fully aware of that fast. It’s so much fun seeing them have new experiences and watching how they react to their first sunset or that initial visit to see the monkey at the zoo. Of course, when it comes to food, things are not always so lovely.
Many toddlers, although curious about everything else in the world around them, are less than excited about the prospect of trying new foods that may be unfamiliar to them but if you don’t want to end up with a fussy eater on your hands, you do need to help them experience new foods that they will grow to love.
With that in mind here are some top tips you can use to help your toddler try new foods as often as possible:
How To Get Your Toddler to Eat Healthy Meals
Wednesday, March 9, 2022
It is concerning that only 7% of children in the US consume vegetables daily and in required amounts. Research also shows that most toddlers are fussy eaters and will likely reject foods they are not familiar with. With these hindrances, how do you get your toddler to eat healthy meals without dealing with tantrums? It is a tricky one until you both master the act. Below are some ideas you may want to try out in your bid to get your tots to eat healthily.

It's 4:45 am, do you know where your kids are? That's right! You have a toddler and it's Saturday, but they think it's time to wake up for the day! Oh joy. Routine is key with children, in fact they thrive on it. They also say it takes a village to raise a child. In the age of technology, we have My Tot Clock.

Tips for Grocery Shopping with a Toddler
Wednesday, October 19, 2016
I am a stay-at-home mom and as much as I would love to go grocery shopping by myself, that just isn't realistic for our lifestyle. My daughter is in school, so I usually only have one in tow when I grocery shopping these days. My toddler son. Two of his favorite ways to keep him entertained are toys and snacks.
As soon as we head into our local Publix, we make sure to get the car grocery cart. It's a fun way to keep little ones entertained while grocery shopping. Sometimes we will head over to their bakery department and get a complimentary cookie, but most of the time we head straight to their baby aisle and grab some Gerber® toddler snacks. Our new favorites are the Gerber® Lil’ Beanies™.

I received complimentary products to provide this post. All opinions are my own.
My son turned TWO! Where does the time go? His little personality is showing that he has definitely two. Others have told me that it tends to be a boy thing because he can get so aggressive one moment and then so sweet the next. Whatever it is, it's something new for me.

Reading to Your Baby with DK Books
Friday, August 8, 2014
I received a complimentary Toddler Book Pack from DK Publishing for the purposes of review. All opinions are mine.
Reading to your baby/toddler is very important. Hearing your voice and saying different words is how they learn to talk. It is also very beneficial for them socially. And what you read to your little one is very important as well. DK is a best-selling and award-winning children’s publisher with a crop of titles for babies and toddlers. DK books for early learners are perfect for children ages 0 to 3 and help provide a fun, hands-on playtime experience for babies and toddlers. DK books contain bright pictures, easy-to-read text, novelty features and more to excite and engage little ones. So when I received the opportunity to review a few titles from DK Publishing, I was very excited to share them with my 5 month old and 3 year old.

Toddler Teething - AmberPieces Baltic Necklace #Review & #Giveaway
Sunday, March 17, 2013
SweetPea has been getting her two year old molars, and although slobber and crying are super fun, I had to find another way to help her through this.
Found Here
SweetPea's teeth have always come in pairs and her molars have been no different. And although I was sceptic of Baltic Amber Teething Necklaces in the past, I recently received the recent opportunity to let SweetPea try them out. So I figured I would give it another go.
Succinic acid is a naturally occurring component in amber that makes it so effective. Succinic acid is a natural pain reliever, anti-inflammatory, and a central nervous system calmer. It is so effective on babies and small children because it simultaneously eases their pain while also having a strong soothing effect on their nervous system – all with zero side effects!
The beads are meant to be worn against baby’s skin, not chewed, and are worn at a short length so that baby cannot easily grab and pull at the necklaces. The necklaces are meant to break if pulled too tight, to prevent choking, but beads are individually knotted so they don’t all fall from the necklace. While it’s recommended that children don’t wear them at night, a necklace can be wrapped around an ankle and covered with a sock to keep it warmed against baby’s skin, and still effective while they sleep.
SweetPea loved wearing her necklace and I felt it truly did help. Plus, two Nanny to Mommy readers are fortunate enough to receive a Baltic Amber Teething Necklace from Amber Pieces to try for themselves! Just enter the Rafflecopter below. US only. All entries are verified but the only required entry is to comment on this post! :)
