How to Look and Feel Confident as the Mother of the Bride
Confidence is also important and it comes naturally when you know that you are dressed appropriately for the wedding banquet. For example, a long-length gown is a classic and elegant choice, particularly for afternoon and evening weddings. You should also communicate with the mother of the groom to ensure that both of you complement each other without clashing outfits.
To feel and look your best on this special day, you should consider the colour scheme of the wedding. For instance, if your daughter’s wedding colours are blue and grey, a dress in the blue family might be a great choice. Avoid white to keep the spotlight on the bride, but colours such as champagne or gold can also look stunning. By following these tips, you’ll feel both beautiful and confident that you’re in the correct attire on your daughter's big day.

Her: One time when we lived in our apartment back when we were still engaged, we had just moved in and he was late coming home from work and didn't call and I tried to keep the hamburger helped warm by keeping the eye on the stove low. Burned straight to the pot. I also had an ANCIENT crock pot and we ate way under cooked pot roast. :/But this is why I am a Stouffer's Lasagna kind of cook. :P
Him: That roast at the apartment that was raw and I had to cook Hamburger Helper while she cried the night away.

Him: Those damn night gowns.
What would you say is your favorite thing about her?
Her: I have no idea what he would say. Use to be my hourglass figure but that went out the window two years ago (I'm more pear shaped now). Maybe my eyes?
